What is Tough Convos?

Tough Convos is a Black, woman-owned company focused on creating custom content, learning experiences, and frameworks that use Diversity, Equity & Inclusion principles to increase cultural intelligence and build inclusive company cultures.

Who established Tough Convos?

Daphne Magna founded Tough Convos. She is an Inclusion & Culture consultant, speaker, producer, and human rights advocate. She has facilitated tough conversations and learning experiences for fortune 500 companies worldwide, non-profit organizations and educational institutions working to increase their diverse representation and build an inclusive culture for all.

What do we do?

Our specialties include:

DEI strategy and audits, inclusive leadership training,

brand values and policy development,

multicultural team building and training,

diverse talent attraction and retention strategies,

and conscious messaging to position you as an employer of choice.

Our Tough Convos sessions are every other month on Mondays.

Every month we create custom content to engage in, specifically challenges, biases, situations, questions that come from our community of allies, leaders and individuals who want to know more, learn more and continue on their journey to being an anti-racist. By creating a safe space we can uncover false information and address uncomfortable topics that will bring us closer together with the Black community so we can dismantle racism, colourism, police brutality and everything anti-Blackness

What are the most common topics discussed?

Every month we create custom content to engage in specific challenges, biases, situations, questions that come from our community of allies, leaders and individuals who want to know more, learn more and continue on their journey to being a better ally and promoting anti-racism in their communitites and workplaces.
